A Box Generator.

Box Generators work like Warp Gates but generate a certain type of predefined movable object instead of a certain type of predefined enemy. If there is none of that type of movable object in the level at the time then the box generator will generate a movable object of that type on each of its four sides not on the Y axis. Box Generators feature in the Deluxe Edition and Platinum Edition of Return to Wonderland, and Wonderland Secret Worlds.
