'''Chompers''' are one of the common enemies that appear in every Wonderland game. They make a "Nya!" sound when they are moving.

In the Classic Trilogy, Chompers will attempt to reach a certain character, but are not intelligent enough to go around [[Wall|walls]]. Like  UFOs, Chompers have a priority list of targets; they will only follow lower priority targets if the higher priority ones are not currently in the level. They come in two versions, Red Chompers and Yellow Chompers (also known as Gold Chompers). 

*Red Chomper priority list: Stinky, Loof, Qookie, Peegue
*Yellow Chomper priority list: Loof, Qookie, Peegue, Stinky

Apart from target priority list and colour, the two varieties of chompers are identical. Their movement is faster than a [[Coilys|Coily]] and slower than a [[Kaboom!s|Kaboom!]].

Chompers are more intelligent in the Wonderland Adventures series, being able to go around walls to reach the player. They are still lethal to the touch for the player, but NPCs are unharmed by contact with chompers. WA chompers can be enhanced with special abilities and speed.
===Speed===
A Chomper's speed can be adjusted in the Editor control panel, and can be increased for use in puzzles or mechanisms. However, it can also be made to move slower than normal, and if the speed is set at -4 or below the Chomper will cease to move.
===Special Abilities===
The "Special" variable of the Chomper's control panel can be set to one of three settings:
*---: The Chomper will behave as normal.
*Ghost: The Chomper will go through some objects, including [[gems]] and [[coins]].
*Glow: The Chomper will still be visible in unlit or dimly lit areas. There is also a small difference in fully lit areas.
*Mecha: The Chomper will behave normally, but will have a mechanic texture and a metallic sound.
*Water: The Chomper can swim through water.
