'''Wonderland Adventures''' is the first game in the [[Wonderland Adventures Trilogy]] and the fourth [[Wonderland (series)|Wonderland]] game made by [[Midnight Synergy]]. Its sequel is [[Wonderland Adventures: Mysteries of Fire Island]].

== New Features ==
The Wonderland Adventures series introduced countless new features, including: [[Custom Stinker|Custom Stinkers]], [[Rainbow Magic]]: [[Blink#Blink|Blink]] and [[Pop#Pop|Pop]] and [[Brr#Brr|Brr]], mouse control, [[Stinkers|Stinker]] [[NPC]]s, dialogs, hubs, inventories, and many, many more. It also introduced new textures and new music by Jonne Valtonen.

== Plot ==
The game starts off with a calm atmosphere, but before long earthquakes begin occurring. It is later revealed that the cause for these earthquakes is the [[Thwarts]] - seven ape-like creatures who are trying to take the colour away from Wonderland. Only after getting the seven [[Rainbow Shards]] will the colour be restored to Wonderland. Along the way, the player meets [[Morklin]], a wise Stinker who manages a Wonderland museum; [[Wysp]], a baby rainbow star who comes to help the player every now and then, and many more Stinkers. The player learns how to use the Rainbow Shards to teleport all across Wonderland. The player learns to use three of the [[rainbow magic]] types and uses these to solve the many challenges and obstacles on the way. At the end of the game the thwarts become good and each becomes a different colour of the rainbow.

== Rainbow Shards ==
The Shards may be used as long-distance teleportation devices. You may invoke a shard by opening your inventory and click on it three times. This will then play a random melody using seven shards (may be repeated) in your inventory; simply repeat that melody by clicking on the corresponding shards, then you will be teleported.

Before you can use the shards, you must possess the first four (Orange, Indigo, Red, Blue). After you have these, talk to [[Morklin]], he tells you about another Rainbow temple (The one just outside Wondertown). You must go there and cross the rainbow pool Morklin told about. After that, talk to Morklin again, ask him how the shards work, and he will tell you. 

The location the shards will teleport you to are as follows:

*Orange: Tutorial area, at the windmill
*Indigo: Rainbow temple (The one in Wondertown, where Morklin works)
*Red: Forever Forest
*Blue: The Foggy Mountains
*Green: The Wasteland
*Yellow: One area below the corn field, at the red gate
*Purple: Entrance of the Lonely Top
