Kaboom!s are enemies that appear in the Classic Trilogy and Mysteries of Fire Island, however they are not enemies in Mysteries of Fire Island.

Classic Trilogy

In the Classic Trilogy, Kaboom!s are enemies and will explode if you get too close to it! Kaboom!s can be used in many different ways, but are dangerous.

  • Kaboom!s will explode if you touch it or go next to it. By touching them, you die.
  • Kaboom!s will explode if it touches a Powder Keg or a Fireball.
  • Kaboom!s will explode if it gets trapped (i.e. no space to walk around).
  • Kaboom!s will travel around it's border.
  • Kaboom!s can push buttons and hold down buttons.
  • A Kaboom!s explosion will destroy Wooden Boxes and crystals, and also boulders and Steel Boxes.

Mysteries of Fire Island

In Mysteries of Fire Island, Kaboom!s are friendly and you can find them in the Full Version of Mysteries of Fire Island in a place called Kaboom! Village. Since they are friendly, they don't explode at all, although in some adventures of Mysteries of Fire Island (e.g. "Baby Go Boom!") there are Baby Boomers. Baby Boomers act like Wee Stinkers, except some Baby Boomers can explode, but only if you control them too. They can still be rescued and go in "Stinker Exits".

In Mysteries of Fire Island, Kaboom!s come in 5 different colours: Red, yellow, blue, dark blue and purple.

Trivia

  • Kaboom!s get it's name, because it's like in real life when a bomb explodes and someone says "KABOOM!".
