Cages are wooden cages in Wonderland Adventures and Mysteries of Fire Island that drop when the player, a Critter, or an NPC steps on the tile underneath it, rendering the object in the cage immobile. In some levels the goal is to trap all of a certain creature in the cages (though destroying the creatures also counts toward this goal).
Trivia
For some reason, Thwarts and Ice Trolls (and Fire and Iceflowers placed inside a cage using the Flip Glitch) can shoot even if they are in a cage. However, they cannot shoot a player that is inside a cage.
