Chapter 10: Sundog Island
After a while, Oondy catches up to the player. They are re-introduced to Brr Rainbow Magic and use it to get into the island's interior.
Both groups of Stinkers and the Kaboom!s arrive shortly after, determined to get the Star Key back. The unified group explores the island, with the player collecting Ice Keys along the way.
Unfortunately, the Star Key is under heavy guard in the Ice Troll Fortress, which appears to be completely unassailable from the outside. Thankfully, an old abandoned mine that leads directly into the fortress basement is quickly discovered near a mysterious abandoned Stinker settlement.
The player completes a few adventures to raise bridges necessary to infiltrate the fortress. They find Oondy there, who has found the Star Key at the top of the fortress, as well as the Home Glyph, which will surely take the Stinkers and Kaboom!s back to Wonderland. However, both artifacts are blocked by several Laser Gates, which must be deactivated by the collection of Ice Gems.
The areas containing these Ice Gems are blocked by gates openable by the Ice Keys found earlier. After enough Laser Gates are deactivated, the Star Key becomes accessible and the player prepares to collect it at last.
Epilogue: At The End Of It All
The player accidentally trips an alarm, alerting the Ice Trolls and drawing them to his position. The player quickly collects the Star Key and Home Glyph and makes his way along an escape route.
After escaping some Chompers and Fireflowers, the player runs into the Mirror Chamber in the fortress, as well as most of the Stinkers and Kaboom!s. The player uses the Home Glyph, teleporting everyone back to Wonderfalls.
After a short debriefing by Mayor Scarredy, the player makes their way back to the Sky Machine to get the Star Key to Morklin. He greets the player and shows him into a formerly hidden chamber, to use the key and activate the machine.
Surprisingly, the Ice Trolls and Shiver are waiting for the pair. Shiver attempts to stop the player from activating the Star Key, but his efforts prove futile, as the player activates the machine.
Too late, Shiver reveals a terrible secret: the machine is not in fact a Sky Machine at all, despite the old Stinker legend. Rather, it is a power-boosting machine created by the Z-Bots, which draws them to invade Wonderland once again, stronger than ever.
Just as the starships are closing in and all hope seems lost, Wysp appears to the player. He reveals that there is a Sky Machine after all: it is a Z-Bot starship designed to be workable by Stinkers, and Wysp himself is the real Star Key needed to activate it.
The game ends with the player and Wysp setting out for the stars, set on driving back the Z-Bots. This sets the stage for the next game, Wonderland Adventures: Planet of the Z-Bots.
