Style Problem

The "Welcome to WonderWiki!" and "This is a wiki about the Wonderland Game Series, with articles covering all aspects of the Wonderland Games!" overlap. Fuzboto 11:55, 21 May 2011 (CDT)

It doesn't for me. I'll add another line break in between and see if it fixes the overlapping. --Dlcs18 12:05, 21 May 2011 (CDT)

Link to Wonderland Series

On the welcome to WonderWiki paragraph could we make the phrase "Wonderland Game Series" a live link to Wonderland (series) article. This will mean anyone viewing the site for the first time will be able to easily access the basic information about the Wonderland game series. Fuzboto 09:01, 8 July 2011 (CDT)

Implemented. Tyteen4a03 (talk) 13:52, 27 August 2012 (CDT)

WonderWiki Newspaper?

I was wondering, what if WonderWiki had a newspaper? A WonderPaper? 15:17, 14 April 2011 (CDT)
Billy Bob: But what would we talk about? MS doesn't make progress every month.

Just a note about signatures

To anyone who doesn't already know this: To add your signature to the end of a comment, place two dashes and four tildes after the comment. --Emerald141 15:03, 13 May 2011 (CDT)

Nope, just four tildes are fine, like this: ~~~~Tyteen4a03 16:57, 13 May 2011 (CDT)

Micman27

Sorry about Micman27's recent antics. He thinks he's doing them on behalf of a wiki I moderate, but I've hopefully set him straight. If there's anything I can do to reimburse the damage, just let me know. ~ JCM

Sorry, but who are you? Tyteen4a03 03:25, 14 May 2011 (CDT)
Billy Bob: Micman27/Sammy_P probably.
Sorry, but who is Billy Bob? ~ JCM
A user on this wiki by the name of Fuzboto. Emerald141 20:36, 19 May 2011 (CDT)

Fixed the link for you, Emerald.~~~~Deeman 16:07, 23 May 2011 (EST)

Links to non-existing pages about unofficial content

I have removed links from some articles that point to non-existing articles about unofficial content. The reason is because it is unnecessary to have all these links to unofficial content until someone decides to make an article for them. --Dlcs18 09:54, 14 May 2011 (CDT)

Page Undeletion Request

For some reason Tyteen deleted the article on my custom character Vivarium because there wasn't a wiki article on the series he appeared in. There is now. Could comeone please restore it? Emerald141 12:47, 15 May 2011 (CDT)

Thanks for restoring the page, Dlcs, but, um, Carnifex and Vivarium are actually recurring characters- one or both of them makes an appearance or at least a mention in all my level series. Could you please change them back to Carnifex and Vivarium instead of Collision of Worlds/Carnifex and Collision of Worlds/Vivarium? Emerald141 17:29, 15 May 2011 (CDT)

Well, I think tyteen wanted all unofficial character articles to be linked with a level series, so that's why I did that. I'll move them back for now and I'll let tyteen make a further decision on it later. --Dlcs18 17:40, 15 May 2011 (CDT)

Question about stubs

If a page only has a sentence or two for its content, but its canonical source only references it briefly, would it still be called a stub? BB thinks it is, but I'm not so certain. What do the admins think? Emerald141 17:56, 29 May 2011 (CDT)

When a page is a stub it means that it lacks information, not that it is short. Hence the "This page is a stub. You can help WonderWiki by expanding it.". Fuzboto 18:31, 30 May 2011 (CDT)
The guy who invented the wiki word 'stub', Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia) phrases it like this:

"A stub is an article containing only a few sentences of text which — though providing some useful information — is too short to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject, and which is capable of expansion."

While it may be that there isn't much canonical reference material, I think my recent edit to Mayor Scarredy proves that there's always something to add. Also, you're not the definitive source on either WonderWiki or Wonderland- I was asking the admins, not you. Emerald141 15:27, 31 May 2011 (CDT)
The page was not a stub beforehand; it did not lack the information you have put, but it is better with it of course. Fuzboto 06:47, 2 June 2011 (CDT)
It depends on the context. For example, if you're creating a separate page for each character in a game, minor characters might fit better in the root characters, but if you're creating a separate page about a major element, such as Stinky, then even if the canonical source only references it briefly it deserves its own page with the stub template. I'm sorry that the reply was a year later, but hopefully it sums up what I think. Tyteen4a03 (talk) 13:58, 27 August 2012 (CDT)

Add Stinky and Loof in Wonderland under the Games section

Now that Stinky and Loof in Wonderland is out, that should be added to the Games section on the main page. The release year would be 2022. --Celebi543 00:57, 17 July 2022 (EDT)
