A lava tile in the Classic Trilogy.

Lava is a tile in Wonderland. It is similar to Water, however there are some changes.

Uses in the Classic Trilogy

Wooden Boxes, Plasma Boxes, Boulders, Link Spheres, and Sticky Cubes will always be destroyed when touching lava. Powder Kegs, being explosive, will explode and destroy all neighbouring objects. However, Steel Boxes are unaffected by lava, and are the only box that can be used to construct bridges over lava.

Similarly to Water, directly touching lava will kill Stinkers and Z-Bots, while UFOs and Rainbow Spirits will float over it. In addition, lava always stays in the same tile and does not flow to lower levels.

Uses in Mysteries of Fire Island

In Mysteries of Fire Island, standing above lava or on a neighbouring tile of the lava will begin to burn the player. Moving away from the lava will give the player a chance to cool off. If the player gets too hot, he will burn and lose the adventure.

If the player gets launched into lava by a Spring, the player's Stinker will look burnt and be on fire as it slowly sinks into the lava.
