Floing Orbs are items found in different locations of the Mysteries of Fire Island hub, with the exception of the first (located in the level "The Ascent"). Guggenheimer explains that they are surging with Floing magic, and you later discover the Retro World from the Time Glyph. The orbs can be used at white blocks to activate various past-themed adventures.
