Fireballs are fiery spherical bullets which are shot from Cannons and UFOs and Shadow Stinkers and Fireflowers and Thwarts.

A Scouge and a Push Cannon from the Classic Trilogy firing fireballs.

Interaction with Objects

Characters

The orange arrow is the original fireball's path. The green arrows represent the path of the fireball after it is split by the prism. The purple arrow is the fireball's path after it hits a reflector.

Fireballs are lethal to Stinkers and all Classic Trilogy Enemies except for Ghosts.

Classic Trilogy Boxes

Steel Boxes, Plasma Boxes and Boulders block fireballs. Wooden Boxes and Powder Kegs are destroyed. Reflectors will reflect fireballs that collide with them and will bounce off and move in another direction, depending on the angle of the reflector. Prisms will smash when hit by a fireball, and will create two more fireball which move in the direction 90 degrees left and 90 degrees right from the point of collision between the prism and the fireball.

Glitches

  • If a Classic Trilogy fireball is shot along the border of any level, it will extinguish itself after moving 2 tiles.
