Coilys are evil springs from every game in the Classic Trilogy. They are a type of enemy. They jump around randomly, except that they avoid Conveyor Belts and Ice. They can't jump high enough to jump on top of Boxes or Walls. If a Stinker touches a Coily then the Stinker will die. They can be destroyed by Electro Tiles, Spikes, Fireballs, and objects (that aren't Stinkers) coming at them from Ice or Conveyor Belts. They are mostly just annoyances, but can also be quite important to the puzzle. Their movement is slower than any other enemy that moves.
In Mysteries of Fire Island, Coilys return, but are only seen in the Retro World.
