Getting The Big Picture is the fourth level of Training Grounds. It is a relatively bigger level made up of multiple rooms, bridges, and Scouges each shooting at various speeds. It also teaches the player how to look around levels (by using the arrow keys while holding down Shift) to get an idea of where to go next. The main goal is to push a single box to a pool of water on the other end of where its placed to acquire some rainbow coins. There is also a pink round button that can be used to get some bonus coins.
Walkthrough
- After collecting the two open coins at the starting point, head down the eastern passage to reach the box while avoiding the Scouges on the path. Notice how each Scouge has different shooting speeds.
- Go around the box and start backtracking the path while pushing it. Scouges can shoot and destroy your box, making the level unwinnable.
- To get the locked bonus coins, lay the box onto the button, walk back to where you found the box, and pick up the coins.
- Upon revisiting the starting point with the box, keep going down the western passage and southeast to the pool of water, while avoiding more Scouges like before.
- Push the box onto the water. It doesn't matter where you place it. Collect the coins and head to the exit.
Trivia
The level is based on the "Big Picture" idiom, which can mean viewing a situation in all aspects. It is represented by the ability to look around with Shift, as introduced by this level.
