3D View

3D View, also called First Person, is a mode introduced in Return to Wonderland Platinum Edition that allows a level to be played in a first-person perspective from the viewpoints of the playable Stinkers as opposed to using the default top-down viewpoint. In Return to Wonderland Platinum Edition, this mode can be activated by placing the 3D View tile anywhere in the level, and in Stinky and Loof in Wonderland, it is instead activated by changing the viewpoint to "First Person" or "First Person - Pan Disabled" under Level Properties.
The active Stinker is controlled differently when playing a level in first-person. The up key moves the Stinker forward in the direction they're facing, the down key moves them backward, and the left and right keys change the direction they're facing by 90 degrees. Because of this, the first-person mode is usually better for visual effect on scenic levels or for mazes. In action levels, it makes the gameplay more difficult as the player can't see as much of the area around the active Stinker, and it's slower to move the active Stinker around the level.
The first-person mode has been showcased in two of the levels added to Return to Wonderland Platinum Edition: The Forest Maze and You're Not Alone.
The 3D View mode in Return to Wonderland Platinum Edition has some quirks and glitches. For instance, some sound effects like Coilys bouncing around or Scouges firing their fireballs do not play. When using a Trampoline, the camera will remain level with the ground as the Stinker bounces. These aren't present in the first-person viewpoint in Stinky and Loof in Wonderland. All sound effects play as intended, and the camera bounces along with the Stinker if they use a Trampoline.
