The first picture ever to be taken of "YEA", captured by forum member janetgalle on May 16, 2005.[1]

YEA is a small, white piece of text found in Return to Wonderland that appears in the top left corner of the game window after the last or only Stinker of that level reaches the exit. The message lasts exactly 1 second before going away, and program execution is paused during this time, giving the illusion that the game is lagging. Members on the Wonderland Forum were wondering what it did, and Patrick Maidorn confirmed that it is a leftover bit of code used for testing when a level ends, and that it seems to have slipped through into the final game.[2]

The text will only appear if the player is playing an already completed (but not perfected) Custom Level that contains Bonus Coins. They need to finish the level with all Bonus Coins collected while also beating their previous score for the level. Only then will the text be displayed.

During a Twitch.tv livestream on August 28, 2020, forum user Kamerson unknowingly encountered the text while playing custom levels for Return To Wonderland.[3] This is the first known instance of it ever being captured on video.
