Pootsy is the first character met in the Wonderland Adventures Trilogy.

In Wonderland Adventures, he tells the player that he is in a bit of trouble and could really use the player's help. He tells the player that he was out exploring a cave with a few Wee Stinkers when a strange tremor began, everything started shaking, and some of the Wee Stinkers got trapped behind a passage, and that he needs help rescuing them. After the player says that he will help, he follows Pootsy to the Wee Stinkers stuck inside the cave. After the player saves the Wee Stinkers, Pootsy and the Wee Stinkers escape the cave through a path that closes just afterwards, making it so the player has to find another way out. After the player does, Pootsy thanks the player, and tells the player that Jedlic's Windmill crushes and grinds flower seeds to make sweet breads and cakes with, and that he likes to watch its arms go round, and that Jedlic lives and works in the windmill, and that he is a friendly Stinker.

In Mysteries of Fire Island, the player finds Pootsy in the east of the camp on Fire Island. He asks the player if he can remember him, and says that the last time he met the player, he was about to start his grand adventure. He also tells the player that he heard about the player's heroic travels, and how the player found the Rainbow Shards and saved Wonderland. Pootsy also tells the player that he joined the expedition because he was inspired by the player's adventures. After the player apologizes for this, Pootsy says not to apologize and that it has been a rough start to the expedition, and that together they will solve this problem. After this Pootsy asks the player if he has met Loopy yet, and tells the player that Loopy was a fine Stinker and part of the crew, but ever since camp was set up, Loopy has just been sitting alone and saying the strangest things. Pootsy says that he hopes that a way can be found to help Loopy be less "loopy".
