How Greedy Can You Get? is the sixth level in Desert Cities and one of the few levels prioritized to bonus coin collection. The level consists of a Scouge room, a Z-Bot hallway, and an exit with Kaboom!s, all of which have bonus coins blocking their paths. Collecting more bonus coins in this level increases the risk of getting hit by a hazard.
Walkthrough
Similar to other levels with a sole focus of bonus coins, collecting all of the rainbow coins in this level poses no challenge. One can only collect the rainbow coins and not get hit by anything on the way to the exit. However, the more bonus coins collected, the more prone Stinky is to getting caught by an enemy.
The walkthrough assumes all bonus coins are being collected in the level.
Scouge Bonus Coins
Begin by collecting the bonus coins blocking Scouge Fire before going across a conveyor belt. Note that all Scouges fire in uneven intervals, but there are a few temporarily safe-spots within the space as you collect rainbow coins.
Carefully collect the coins while they are blocking the exposed Scouge fire. Refer to the below picture for an optimal coin collection setup that grants two, 1x2 tile safe-spots before collecting them. Collect the coin on the far west, and right after most or all Scouges fire, collect the last coin on the west half and proceed to the safe-spot on the east. Time correctly to get the last two coins and proceed to the Z-Bot section (Note: Scouge fire is still present from here on).
Z-Bot Bonus Coins
Similar to the Scouge area, the group of Z-Bots are a mix of direction changes, and it is uncertain where Z-Bots are going to turn when hitting a wall. Note that Scouges can also destory the Z-Bots so that they don't pose a hazard when going for the later bonus coins.
First, run through the bonus coins along one of the sides of the hallway while quickly timing movement to ensure Z-Bots don't hit Stinky upon collecting their coin. The Z-Bots should likely be running along a U-shape and will be prone to being hit by Scouge's fire. After the Z-Bots on one side are gone, getting the bonus coins on the other side of the hall will be proven easier. Z-Bots will only be going back and fourth through the alcoves.
Kaboom! Bonus Coins
This last part is simple. While still avoiding the long-range Scouge fire on the first end of the level, wait until both Kaboom!s wander the far end of the room before going after the last three bonus coins. Immediately head for the exit once all coins are collected.
