Music
Music is an element present in every game in the Wonderland series. It is played in the background as the program runs, and different music is played to fit a particular setting.
Music in the Classic Trilogy
In the Classic Trilogy, there are a total of six tracks overall. The first five were introduced in Wonderland while the sixth was introduced in Return to Wonderland Classic Edition. These tracks have more electronic instrumentation. These tracks are not given names in the Return to Wonderland level editor which only identifies then as "Music Track (number)". Names for these tracks are given in the online reference guide for the Return to Wonderland editor as well as the WonderlandPlus.NET and Stinky and Loof in Wonderland level editors. There is no option to have no music play during a level though the player has the option of muting the in-game music in the options menu. All Classic Trilogy music tracks were composed by Jonne Valtonen, also known as Purple Motion.
The music files for the Classic Trilogy games are Impulse Tracker-formatted sequence files (.it) renamed to .dat files and are stored in the root folders of each game as res3.dat through res8.dat. Some files are given names in their metadata.
