Nightfall is the seventh level in Qookie's Cottage. The level directly follows Escape From The Foggy Mountains where Stinky and Loof make it out of the caves after night has fallen. They must use several Powder Kegs to build a bridge and move forward. Afterwards, they spot Qookie's cottage and decide to go in there to escape the cold. The level takes place in the same area and conditions as the previous level starting in the northeastern part and with an additional blue tint due to the nightfall.

Referring to the infographic, start by pushing the Boulder along the red path positioning each Stinker at a red X if needed. Keeping one Stinker in the westmost red X, the other Stinker should push two of the Powder Kegs down one tile along the red paths. Move the free Stinker to a safe spot, switch Stinkers, and push the Boulder down. If done correctly, all of the Powder Kegs will be blown up except for the ones in the light-brown circles and the one in a corner on the right. Push three of the kegs out of the room and along the light-brown path to make a bridge in the light-brown oval and position each Stinker in the light-brown Xs as needed. For the kegs along the left and right walls, position a Stinker in the dark red Xs to help move the kegs away from the walls.

To get to the Bonus Coins, a bridge must be built in the dark-brown oval. Move one Stinker to the dark-brown X and push the Wooden Box to one tile north of the dark-brown X with the other Stinker. Switch Stinkers and push the box up into the water. Use the two remaining kegs from the Powder Keg room to complete the bridge. Have one Stinker cross the bridge and move right onto the ice to collect all of the Bonus Coins.

Move each Stinker across the Wooden Box bridge and along the light-blue arrows. There are Rainbow Spirits patrolling Qookie's cottage, so the player must time the last left press carefully so that neither Stinker slides into a Spirit. The level's only Rainbow Coin will be collected as the Stinkers cross the ice patch, and the Rainbow Gate is located just inside the front door of the cottage.
