The Library is the second level in Secret Passages. The gang make their way to the library to learn more about the Rainbow World and the Rainbow Spirits. Once done, they head deeper inside the temple to find the gateway to the Rainbow World.
Walkthrough
At the start of the level, a Scouge will shoot a fireball into a room with Prisms and Reflectors to create a “ring of fire.” Push one of the reflectors on the bottom left to the right one tile so that all of the fireballs can escape. Use all four reflectors on either the top or bottom to build a bridge and use the remaining reflectors and the purple button to have the Scouge destroy two of the Wooden Boxes. The boxes and two of the reflectors can be used to build bridges to the library as well as the sets of coins on either side of the pool (there are 2 Bonus Coins hidden in Fake Walls here).
Once the Stinkers can access the library, position three of the Stinkers, the Boulder, and the remaining reflectors onto the round buttons. The Boulder can be used to hold down either the dark-blue or white buttons. To do so, hold off collecting the Bonus Coins in the rooms containing these buttons and use one of the reflectors to stop the boulder in front of either of the rooms. Push the Boulder into the desired room, and it will stop on a button if that room’s Bonus Coin has not been collected. Once all of the buttons have been held down, collect the Rainbow Coins that were previously locked behind a series of Gates. Collect any remaining coins, have all four Stinkers reconvene in the main area, and exit.
Books
There are six books, each explaining an aspect of the Rainbow World or the Rainbow Spirits. The contents of the books are as follows:
- Book 1 (top-right): "There are many worlds, all connected by the Rainbow World. They all share the same destiny."
- Book 2 (bottom-left): "The Rainbow World connects to all other worlds through a single gateway in each world."
- A note in one of the books (middle-left): "Wonderland also has a single gate to the Rainbow World. It is right here, deep within the passages of the Rainbow Temple."
- A text on Wonderology (middle-right): "Rainbow Spirits are the guardians and balance keepers of the Rainbow World. Without them, peace and stability is disturbed in each world."
- A book on Legends (bottom-right): "It is said that once every thousand moons, the Rainbow Spirits will leave the Rainbow World, and only a kind and just soul can return them."
- Book 6 (top-left): "A single soul of pure heart must travel into the Rainbow World and open the gates to allow the Rainbow Spirits to return. Only then is balance restored."
