Traps and Tribulations is the second level in Training Grounds. It introduces conveyor belts, Scouges, and electo tiles, the areas of which contain the rainbow coins. There is an extra wooden box area containing bonus coins. It is also noted that one extra bonus coin can be located in the Conveyor Belt section.

The difficulty picks up a little more after First Steps, mainly due to players having to time correctly to run past the Scouges and electricity, as well as the chance of not being able to claim the bonus coins if not thinking carefully enough.

Walkthrough

To get all the rainbow coins, you may do any of the three sections in any order to make the exit gates open. However, the electro tile room is the harder of the three, since you cannot get the indication of where the tiles are appearing when they are inactive. After which, do the Scouge section, then the conveyor belts to ensure you have done the level.

Electo Tile Section

There are two 2x3 tile-large areas of electricity, that must be walked across and backtracked for three coins. The one on the right has a speed of 2, whereas the left one's speed is 3. Therefore, more caution should be taken on the right one since its faster.

Scouge Section

There are two Scouges to the north, both with a speed of 2. One can easily run past both before they shoot, and backtrack in the same matter. It should be advised that the one coin is also in the same area as where the right Scouge is firing, so timing must be right upon collecting it as well.

Conveyor Belt Section

Take the northern conveyor. Collect the coin in the alcove before proceeding to the next conveyor. Collect the other coin southwest afterwards, and collect the one bonus coin by going around with the lone conveyor tile. Exit using the eastern conveyor taking you to the start.

Bonus Coins

Push the boxes in these directions for the bonus coins.

The room with the wooden boxes contains the other four bonus coins, and can be done any time. Upon entering the room, do not keep going east to push the outwards box into the gap. Instead, push the box north or south. And for whichever direction you choose for bonus coins, push the other boxes to the gaps as shown in the image.
