Time is of the Essence! is the sixth level in Spaced Out. It is a shorter level which features a more challenging set of obstacles with star-shaped buttons, and it may require a few reflexes to get through easily.

Walkthrough

• Run to the pink button before quickly collecting the rainbow coins and back from their dead ends. Push the button every time you attempt to collect the first three coins.
• For the pink gate, leading to the yellow button, ensure timing is correct with the Scouge fire before collecting the coin on the east end. This must be done faster since the yellow gate will release a chain of Z-Bots for the next two gates.
• Immediately run to where the bonus coins are. Make sure the passages are clear from fire before collecting the coins, AND before the cyan gate closes.
• Collect the final coin in the southwest corner and go to the exit before time runs out.

Trivia

While the first sign implies that all buttons are star-shaped and connected to timers, the level's predecessor, Time Flies When You're Having Fun, also has every button star-shaped, including the conveyor belt button which this level lacks.
