The Money Maze is the seventh level in The Halls of Undermountain. It is made up of a maze containing many bonus coins and several Kaboom!s. With the exit area occupied by one rainbow coin to collect.

This is one of the few levels in the Wonderland that is solely about getting bonus points.

Walkthrough

The directions each Kaboom! makes around the maze.

The below image shows which direction each Kaboom! makes around the maze walls (The arrows indicate where they turn along the walls). Another notable feature about the Kaboom!s is that the one near the exit goes around a small wall line, and therefore does not wander freely around the maze.

Number indicators for bonus coins.

For the optimal path to collect all of the bonus coins, refer to the second image further below and follow the steps to collect and avoid Kaboom!s:

1. Collect Coin 1.
2. Wait for the Kaboom! to pass, which is heading for the start point.
3. Run to and collect Coins 2, 3, and 4.
4. Wait within the Coin 3 or 4 tiles until an incoming Kaboom! passes, which walks to where Coin 2 was.
5. Go to and collect Coin 5.
6. Collect Coins 6 and 7.
7. Collect Coin 8.
8. Wait until the incoming Kaboom! passes again. This Kaboom! turns right along walls.
9. Collect Coin 10.
10. Walk counter-clockwise with the patrolling Kaboom! near the exit, and collect the rainbow coin.
