The Spiral of Doom is the eighth level of Winter in Wonderland. It continues the mechanic of two colliding wooden boxes breaking, as shown in the Collision Course level. The level is made up of an ice spiral, with boxes placed on non-ice tiles within it. There is one rainbow coin at the center of the spiral, and requires all boxes to be destroyed under collision with one other.

It should be noted that there is one minute of time counting down on this level. In order to acquire all of the bonus coins outside of the spiral, one must be quick enough to collect the rainbow coin as well.

Walkthrough

As demonstrated in Collision Course, should one sliding box on ice bounce back from a wall and towards another incoming one, they will both break (The rainbow coin at the end of the spiral registers as a "wall" for boxes). Since there is not much time to complete the level, one may rush towards the center of the spiral and not focus much on the boxes being slid and destroyed.

However, when sliding across ice right as a box is turning along the ice curve, Stinky will bounce back away from the spiral's center upon touching it. It is wise to wait roughly half a second before sliding the next path of ice to the next box so that Stinky doesn't change directions when this happens. After reaching and collecting the rainbow coin, immediately run back to the start point and to the exit.

Collecting the bonus coins depend on how quick the spiral is managed and backtracked from. A few bonus coins may be collected if one was slow going along the spiral. But collecting all of the bonus coins should take roughly 30 seconds. Therefore, should the spiral be done in around 25 seconds, every bonus coin may be gone after before touching the exit. The bonus coins may also be collected before riding the spiral as well.
