Get Ready, Set, and Run! is a level in the original Wonderland and the 7th level in Heart of the Volcano. Here, Stinky and Loof must dash through a path guarded by 12 cannons on both sides through taking advantage of their different shooting intervals.
Due to the difference in game mechanisms, the firing frequency of the cannons on the original Wonderland versus the remake in Stinky and Loof in Wonderland are different, thus the solutions are slightly different as well.
Walkthrough
Original Wonderland
The cannons are marked by their firing frequencies: "II" cannons fire every two rounds; "III"s fire once every three rounds, "IV"s fire once every four rounds, and "V"s fire once every five rounds. The top and bottom cannons in each column have the same frequencies.
When in the game, count the rounds as "1", "2", "3" and so on, to keep track of which cannons would be firing.
- Start with Stinky and move immediately. The first set of cannons will fire on "2".
- On "2", only "II" will fire. Before that, move the box under the fifth cannon ("II"), which will destroy it.
- On "3", only "III" will fire. Before that, move the next box to under the ninth cannon (at the "X" marked "3"). Stand in the orange circle.
- On "4", "II" and "IV" will fire. Before that, move the box one tile right. Retreat to the orange circle.
- On "5", only "V" will fire. Before that, move the box one tile right, and stand beside it.
- After "5", move the box to the purple button. Immediately head for the rainbow coin behind the purple door and collect it. Collect bonus coins if there is time, and exit the level. The box will be destroyed on "10".
- Loof can move anytime before "15", but a safe bet would be to wait after the bottom-left corner cannon fires on "10" (destroying the box below Loof).
- Move Loof to the marked position before "12", wait for the cannons to fire, then run for the exit.
Stinky and Loof in Wonderland variant
The cannon frequencies are adjusted to "I", "II", "III" and "IV", firing once every one, two, three and four rounds respectively.
